Audio Web is an Interactive
Voice Response System, which facilitates Internet access
through telephone using speech and touch-tone. Audio Web
enables content from websites to be transformed to speech
in a meaningful way. The conversion to speech is based
on the rules created by the user.
E-mail access is also an important
feature of the system. A user can personalize mail access
by setting rules that are used to read out e-mail. Audio
Web gives the user a new dimension for interacting
and accessing the net by voice. The technology behind
Audio Web enables the user to enjoy the facility of a
web page or an e-mail being read out according to the
set customizations .
Audio Web converts
Internet data into Speech using Profiler and Translator
modules. Audio Web was created with traditional phones
in mind. Audio Web opens all the possibilities of the
World Wide Web to the users of traditional phones by converting
HTML into speech.

Users are allowed to define
custom rules for e-mail or Internet access in Audio
Web using the Profiler tool. The rules are stored
as a selection object in a JDBC compliant database. aveAccess
Personalized Profiler is a flexible, powerful, customization
platform, for a higher level Internet access by providing
individually tailored information of the Net content.
