of tape cassettes. aveVoiceDictate is the apt application for
easy and efficient transcriptions. There are two types of applications
available.
- Multimedia Edition
- Telephone Edition
aveVoiceDictate – Multimedia Edition: This application
is for PC based dictations. It is an easy to use efficient program
that records dictation from the mike that comes from PC’s
Sound card. There are options to keep demographic information
inside the sound files that are generated. It supports multiple
users and can be administered by an administrator. A number
of compressed and non-compressed file save format are supported.
The saved dictations can be uploaded to the Transcribers FTP
server after the dictation is completed.
aveVoiceDictate - Telephone Edition:
This application is meant for making dictations using the POTS[Plain
Old Telephone System] or cellular phones. It is ideal for hospitals
and clinics as any doctor can make a dictation from any telephone
available at any point of time .The session starts as soon as
a dial up connection is made to the aveVoiceDictate server equipped
with Dialogic Telephony card. The telephony server has all normal
recording options like Forward, Rewind, Pause and Play etc.
Multiple users and different file formats are supported. The
files can be uploaded to the FTP server of the transcriber soon
after the dictation is completed.
