E-mails are the most powerful tool for direct communication.
It is the most widely used messaging solution and a timely method
to keep in touch with people in different offices across the
globe for the corporate executives of the present day.
The extend to which it aids the business solutions of today
has no parallel. And for the corporate managers of today, who
are always on the move, accessing e-mails at the touch of their
fingers is definitely a value addition rather than to open their
laptop and go through the extensive process of logging on.
Atinav has gone a step forward in customizing e-mails with
the solution of Mail Readeran implementation of the Interactive
Voice Response system. Mail Reader enables the mails to be retrieved
and read out to the user on instigation of simple voice commands.
Mail Reader has the provision
wherein rules can be defined to access e-mails. The rules can
be varied, in accordance with diverse parameters and preferences.
The rules for the Mail Reader are set in the Mail Profiler of
the aveAccess Audio Web technology. For example, the rule with
the mails having high priority can be created. Only those mails
satisfying this mail condition falls under this rule. In addition,
individual conditions can be combined to form more complex and
useful rules.
A variety of criteria are used to filter e-mails and deliver
the exactly needed one. The filters as well as the rules used
include author, recipient, subject, size, priority, and whether
it has an attachment with it. The Mail Reader thus fetches those
e-mails, which satisfy the distinct conditions, and are then
recited over the telephonic device.
The Mail Reader enables sending of messages in addition to retrieval
of e-mails, which is again done through voice. An added advantage
of the aveAccess Mail Reader is that it has multi-language support,
which means that e-mails in any language can be send and received.
Currently, the Mail Reader supports both English as well as
Chinese language systems.
Mail Reader has been professed to sustain connectivity continuously
to the corporate executive, even while on the move, thus eliminating
the paraphernalia of the connecting systems and modems. It could
be said to be an advantage of the Mail Reader that with plain
voice commands, the wide world of e-mail connectivity can be
explored anytime, anywhere.
