Wireless Airport could be viewed as an optimal realization of
pervasive computing. In a Wireless Airport, all the mercantile
would be Bluetooth enabled. A user with his Bluetooth enabled
device (could be either a Palm, a Laptop or a mobile) in the
lounge can access and enable the various services offered by
the businesses in the specified blue zone. Atinav Wireless Airport
is unique in that it has the capability to route a person to
a specific location, in addition to providing the user with
status of defined persons whenever they come into the blue zone.

Services to Airport Authority
aveLink solution provides the following services to the airport
authority.
- Resource Tracking Solution:
The resource tracking solution allows the airport authorities
to track various types of resources in the airport.
- Wireless Remote Control:
This service enables the airport authority to use any
device that supports HTML, WML or cHTML as a wireless remote
control for various other devices installed in the airport.
- Wireless VoIP Solution: The VoIP solution allows
the users of the airport authority to make voice calls using
wireless devices to PDAs, Bluetooth Phones, and Laptops.
- Wireless Unified Messaging Solution: This solution
allows the users to send SMS messages, WAP Pushes, or Audio
alerts to different users.
Services to Travelers
Travelers who are equipped with Bluetooth/802.11b devices
and are within range will have access to many services such

- Internet Access Services:
The aveLink solution allows Bluetooth/802.11b enabled devices
in the Mobile Internet Access Zone to access the Internet.
- Location Based Services:
The aveLink Airports Solution can identify the users’ location,
based on the access points they are connected to. Using
this information, specific services can be pushed to the
traveler.
- Accessing Diverse Services and Devices:
The flexibility of aveLink allows the users to access the
services offered by the various devices in the zone, irrespective
of the technology used by them.
- aveLink Portal:
aveLink Portal is a powerful application provided by aveLink
Airports Solution to the travelers. Herein, the users would
be given an URL, the aveLink portal which would offer various
value-added services that are available to the users.
- News and General Airport Announcements:
By default, users of the portal will have access to news
headlines and general airport announcements.
- VoIP Solution:
A built-in Voice over IP solution is available with the
aveLink server. This allows users in the Bluetooth Zone
to make Voice over IP calls using their Bluetooth devices
through this portal.
Messaging Solution: An integrated messaging solution allows
travelers to send or receive SMS Messages, WAP Pushes, Audio
Alerts, and Faxes etc.
- Utilities:
The utilities section allows the users to make use of different
utilities available in the zone.
- Shopping:
Shopping section allows travelers to access online shopping
services. The order can be sent to the service provider
and the provider can ensure delivery at the destination.
Services to Business Centers
The aveLink Airports Solution offers the following services
to the Business Centers.
- Publish the Services/Products to aveLink Network:
aveLink Airports Solution allows the business centers to
publish their services/products to the aveLink network.
- Retrieve the feedbacks from the clients:
According to the traveler’s actions in the aveLink portal,
the business centers can procure feedback like who are interested
in which products etc.
- Sending Promotional Offers:
The aveLink Airport Solution enables the Business Centers
to send their promotional information to the traveler.
