Atinav launches the new version of aveComm® technologies to enhance Internet communication and collaboration
Highly customizable, modular, open-platform technology which enhances the existing CRM, help desk, collaboration, telecommuting and distance learning systems
New Jersey, September 15, 2001 - Atinav (www.atinav.com), a provider of universal Internet access and communications applications for the digital economy, has launched version 2.2 of aveComm today. This new release is a highly customizable, Java-based software technology that provides robust, feature-rich modules such as voice communication over Internet, Application Sharing, Whiteboard, Co-browsing, HTML form sharing and more. aveComm enhances the existing functionality of traditional CRM (Customer Relationship Management), help desk, collaboration and distance learning systems.
aveComm 2.2 provides business that need communication and collaboration tools--beyond the phone, fax and e-mail, with enhanced customizable Internet-based capabilities, such as:
- External Applications Programming Module (EAPM). This module provides an exposed set of programming interfaces that are used to seamlessly integrate aveComm with external business applications.
- Telephony Server. This optional module allows VoIP calls to be made via standard PBX/PSTN systems.
- Firewall Friendly. aveComm 2.2 supports industry standard firewalls. It uses intelligent algorithms to determine whether UDP, TCP or HTTP is the best possible method of communication between the participants.
- Scalable Architecture. aveComm 2.2 is a truly scalable collaboration and communication product. The new version can be configured as a single server for departmental or small office use. It can also be configured to use an unlimited number of servers for large complex organizations.
- New Rules Engine. aveComm 2.2 contains a new Rules Engine that can be used by businesses to integrate work flow and business process into the solution.
- Pocket aveComm. Release 2.2 contains support for Windows CE.
- Directory Services. aveComm 2.2 supports LDAP Directory Services. This provides businesses further flexibility to support centralized user management functions.
